We’ve just returned from another absolutely awe inspiringly special Weekend to Remember®, and these words were from a delightful 77-year-old lady we met and had several conversations with over the weekend. As we said goodbye at the end of the conference, she could hardly contain herself as she blurted out, “I feel like I did when I first fell in love with my husband. Thank you all so much.”
A special moment. But what made it more special was the fact that just two months prior they had been seriously considering divorce.
It could have all been so different, but she said with a smile, “I am not too old to learn.” As they left to walk away, her husband turned and winked at us with the biggest grin on his face you have ever seen. Wow!
